My computer is definately recognising the camera because the camera can be seen in Contour Storyteller, Adobe Bridge and the disk image appears on the desktop. Reading the forums i saw people talking about similar problems and wonder if the issue is because the camera needs to be in a playback setting? I have both the Mac OSX (downloaded Feb 28, 2013) and PC version (not sure when it was downloaded, but its on an unplugged backup external HDD) of Storyteller if that helps anyone out. It always was a clunky way to configure the cameras though, so if you found a different way I'd stick with that. Mac v2.2 and earlier driver 1. Download the file 2. Unzip the file and take note of the location 3. Open the Contour Shuttle Control Panel and click the Options button 4. Choose Import Settings 5. Navigate to the location noted in Step 2 6. Choose the settings file 7. Click the Open button on the screen. Our free, custom Storyteller App easily downloads and helps you assemble your video footage via Mac or PC. Once you’re done, it takes just a few clicks to upload and share your adventure on contour.com and other sites for your friends to see.

Contour Storyteller Mac

Hi
I decided to get a camera. Got the Contour Roam2 off ebay. I knew when I got the camera that the company had gone under and closed, but I thought I would take a chance. I had done some research and it was the best camera price and features for what I needed.
But the company links on their website are broken (removed?) for both the storyteller software and any firmware updates. And I need the Storyteller software to change the settings. Anyone know of another source for the software?
Also, besides using the software to change settings which only Storyteller does, what are good software editing options? what are other people using? I am PC based
thanks
Mark
