could someone help me fix this problem
One on 7.9.1, working fine, one on 7.9.2, having this exact issue reporting the unrecognized VM option. Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Javax.net.ssl.SSLProtocolException: handshake alert: unrecognizedname. Although changing SSL configuration is a simple 2 minute fix, hosting providers (I am looking at you Afrihost and MWeb) are just not capable of resolving this for their clients. This leaves then only two options: Reject the integration due to SSL errors; Find a Java. If the consensus there is that there are code issues, we can reopen this JIRA or create a new one. The start scripts are using options not supported in Java 10, see SOLR-12141: Fix 'bin/solr' shell scripts (Windows/Linux/Mac) to correctly detect major Java version and use numerical version comparison to enforce minimum requirements. Bash-3.2$ java -ver Unrecognized option: -ver Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. The program will exit.
